Importing IATI data directly into country aid management systems (AIMS) reduces country office reporting burdens and drives IATI data use in country. This hands-on workshop will include a quick demo of the new features of Development Gateway’s IATI-AIMS Importer, then users will get to walk through a demo version of the tool to try importing their own data into an AIMS. The session will highlight things to consider during the import and data mapping process, and tangible next steps for both publishers and country partners to connect IATI data and country systems. Participants will be able to experience the import process, begin to identify improvements their data might need for successful imports, and be more confident in the steps they need to take to begin the process at the country level, including outreach. Note: All participants from Partner Country Governments are strongly advised to attend.
