IATI TAG 2018 has ended
Wednesday, November 14 • 2:00pm - 3:30pm
How can IATI data be used in monitoring the progress toward the SDGs? Progress and challenges

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Share your needs for both using and publishing data on resources and results relating to the Sustainable Development Goals. Find out how you can currently publish SDG data to IATI and hear the experiences and challenges of organisations already providing this data.

In this hands-on workshop, participants will work in groups (partner country representatives, publishers and technical experts) on a scenario for preparing a country specific dataset for SDGs. Using the example of UNICEF working with government officials from Burkina Faso - we'll explore what data the government needs and the challenges that UNICEF may experience in meeting those requests. This will then inform whether new rules and features are needed in the IATI Standard to improve monitoring the progress towards the SDGs.
